Doh! indeed. Thanks, Mattrom. I was fixated on the 34th definition. Hadn't spotted the 16th. Cheers.

Not too tough, as long as you get your misprints right!

Very nice. Straight forward ish but enough to get your teeth into with the misprints.

Endgame held me up for a bit due to starting in the wrong corner and getting two of my four letters the wrong way round. Foolish.

Despite comments occaisionally regarding easier level of difficulty ... I do still enjoy the odd one that is finished speedily if it is well constucted ... I personally think this is a 'case in point' ...

As is ever the case I'm at the bottom of the class. I have a completed grid and am only struggling with three misprints - 5 down, 8 down and 11 down - any help here would be welcomed.
More importantly I simply can't see where to go from here -despite having read the preamble multiple times! Everyone else finds it an easy puzzle,
Is ti too early in the week to ask for a nudge? Perhaps later someone may take pity on me: I am a Welsh Rugby supporter and sat through yesterday morning's sad display.

Hi William,

The misprints are in the fifth, last and first words, respectively. Regarding the endgame, you have 1a and 10d. The corrected letters give you a series of 1a's and their 10s so that you know where to draw your lines. The 10s are the only 'fiddly' bits that you need to work out as per the preamble.

Hope that helps and that I haven't given too much away.

It's also worth pointing out that, as you start drawing in the lines, the word that the 'turning cells' spells out is a good check that you're correct. I couldn't see a couple of misprints but was able to 'retrofit' them from the word being spelled out.
