Finished the crossword and endgame with the exception of 20a (-h--) and 21d (I have -odit, after one clash). Any help gratefully received.

Johnny I believe 20 is a 1 letter abbreviation for caught and a 3 letter word for “in”. 22 is weed as in marijuana, and definition “suggest”

DFG2, the R is a E for the answer to 33 - and the odd-looking entry at 37 A exists!

DFG2, glad you made sense of my gibbberish! The word has come up before, I remember checking it some time ago. Here's a little hint, for the middle of the word - 'bugs naked' is the usual crossword device...
