19 clues from 8 setters and only 5 clues failed to get a vote.
I have given jimmygtal extra time but no clarification of his @39 has been forthcoming so I am treating his ambiguous paul@5 as a spoiled ballot.

Interpreting the rules as an equal first place being the same as a first place, the bronze medal goes to buddy @24 with 6 votes, 3 first places and 2 third places narrowly ahead of paul @8,10,17 with 6 votes and 3 first places.

There is also a tie for first place with paul @3 again just losing out and taking silver with 7 votes and 3 first places.

So the gold goes to dorrien @16 with the versatile rad and 7 votes, 4 first places:
