Thanks Chrise and Jazzgirl. Finally got it, but never would have done so without help.

This is my 16th Everyman, having started when I read an article about number 4000. I tend to dip in and out during the day, then sit down to apply myself properly once the rest of the household have gone to bed. And today is the first I have completed without resort to the gentle hints and explanations on this forum, or the solver tool elsewhere on this site. So, pretty chuffed with myself tonight.
