Instruction? Instructing? There's 'uct' in there (disastrous 'cut' being limited) but can't see the rest.

11d could be Instructive

20a is an anag of lady + is twice so, yes, dialysis.

24a is old 2nd person singular verb, as in divest thee?

Well, I've struggled to complete 16 answers (sadly including DIALYSIS) & I have approx 4/5 theories as to further answers.

Overall, this isn't filling me with "deep-down joyloder".
