If this is vamp I can parse it but don't understand the definition.

41 Size, verb, is a term used for weak glue, used to make paper a little water-resistant... there's a fuller, better definition in Chambers.

pint is the beer, sized is having coated a surface to make it water resistant

vamp is a basic piano playing style

51 to vamp is to provide a simple improvised musical accompaniment
