Also fifteensquared.net ("225")!

Try a puzzle each day and compare your work with the annotated 225 solution when it appears.

That gives a lot of insight into clue types (e.g. hidden, double definition, charade, cryptic definition, anagram, &lit, first letters, etc.) and thought process.

Sooner or later you'll be solving and find yourself saying "there's a hidden! (or whatever)".

I'm all done apart from 22d which I can't see at all. I'm assuming it parses 3,1 from my crossers. Is that right.

22d was my LOI too. Yes 3 letter passing diversion and one letter for start of Everyman. This crossword took slightly longer than those from the last few weeks but had some smooth and clever clues of which the one about Madness without Suggs gets my vote as the best one.

There are at least two other words meaning to lose freshness that fit but obviously don't parse at all. Finally I have come upon the right one.

Good Everyman this. No 'primarily' clue this week which is normally a banker. Some great clues of which I also have to agree 15a tops them all.
