There is a hundred quid prize for this puzzle, so I do feel that hints rather than direct answers should be the order of the day.

The Crossword Forum does not, and never will, distinguish between the different sorts of quizzes and crosswords.

PS I would just add that hints are always preferable to answers in the first instance, otherwise how will the solver ever learn to do crosswords?
