5d - that "personal assistant" held me up for ages:-)

I can see that this was clever(I didn't get the theme until I'd finished) but I didn't particularly enjoy it. I can't see the wordplay for 2d if someone could kindly help. Many thanks

I thought this must be very easy for a Prize puzzle as I finished in record time for me. But I do have a parsing problem: that I can't see this theme that people are enthusing about!
