Having trouble with 34a, 36a and 49a- any hints?

Pdm for 49a- leaves 34 and 36

34a Officer is the definition, base is mathematical and the symbol is grammatical
36a There’s an anagram lurking in the clue. The symbol is musical
49a You need to separate stew/pot

34a has occurred now- leaves 36a, which must be obvious as I haven't seen it discussed

Grum, in 26a your anagram is of the first word and a three-letter abbreviation of arranged. As Jono says, the opening symbol is musical

Was quite demanding but we made it. Helpful that my hubby was a Greek scholar so knew all the letters. A tribute to Auracaria again as we recently did a symbol crossword in one of his books.

Good crossword for Easter weekend.

Well that was easy. Last in, 13a. And I was looking for some kind of bone breaking raptor with a Celtic spelling.

Clearly I'm missing something here. Been doing the Guardian crossword for nigh on 40 years but I'm utterly baffled by this one. Have got 14a as sometimes and 5a as colonnade, and one or two others, but for the life of me can't work out what to enter in the grid. What am I missing?
