Busy weekend (wife’s 50th) so only just got round to finishing. Having read all the comments I must say I think 16D was brilliant for how much it foxed so many bright people when it’s quite simple once you’ve seen it! (I count myself among those foxed, questionably among the bright people).
Thanks mpfs, all clear now. 1d slightly dodgy I think, the longer word meaning of or for jumping rather than jumping (not that that's why I couldn't see it).
I believe I've a full grid but there are still bits of wordplay I don't quite fully understand! 10dn for instance is really stumping me--it almost appears to be a double definition but doesn't seem to be a clean match. Any hints?
