A “dancing club” sounds like a rather jolly affair to me :-)

It’s just occurred to me that “some curaçao” is reminiscent of “a drop of Drambuie” which appeared in an Everyman clue for RICE PUDDING a while back

Lots of different types of dancing clubs, Scottish dancing clubs, folk dancing clubs, even lap dancing clubs.. I've no idea what the latter are, but I'm sure they are jolly good fun !!! ;)

Returning to this for a quick scan before submitting it, I am not quite sure about 3D, which no one has mentioned. "strange kind of line in report" suggests one interpretation, but "set down" does not seem quite right grammatically.

What is the consensus on the definition?

Jaffra, I think ‘set down’ works as a definition, as in ‘put’ or ‘place’.

Thanks, jono. I recognise(d) that, but it seemed to me that it needed two words to really sound right. Despite which, I had decided which way to go, but just wanted confirmation.
