I have theme, name, message but struggling to fill the far right of the grid.
Can I have a steer towards 11d, 44a.
I only have 5 of the eight clashes so some letters may not be right.

11d - this is one of the 3 I can't parse but I know is right because all the letters are cross-checked - definition is "family names". Your letters are correct

11d. There is a very famous restaurant called N*m* It is being used as a container.

No, that's "river" + 3 letter "land south of Ontario".

My 2 others unparsed are 17d "mould of ...." and 25d "patient's first drug ....".

17 d was may favourite clue. &lit. Mould is an anagrind.
