LoubyLou, yes the Face, puss, is completely familiar to me - though the 'puss' is pronounced the same as 'pus'. A common insult when I was young was 'shut your puss'!
Can someone please confirm whether or not 11 across is tuolene, not strictly speaking a fuel but is an anagram of nut with tune and ole in there. Also is 17 down Chipolata. I can see the sausage and an anagram of coital as part of it but not the young woman endlessly. Many thanks in anticipation.
Alvin, 11a is to do with music, def is last 2 words. 17 is an anagram of coital and mishap after first removing the endless young woman (although frankly she could be any age!).
Hello.
I'm new to this Eye Crossword malarkey, & very new at this forum thing.
I'm stuck on Eye 744.
28 across.
"Carry-on Sailing, Love is out - no good"
This sort of clue always flummoxes me. An ideas?
