...I had to check, it was 'gin-sozzled', so the 'sozzled' is the anagram indicator, 'ing (in Kissinger)' is 'gin' scrambled, sozzled...

I thought 20a was the hardest clue for some time. I was convinced it must be hisser being a word for a cat. I expected Henry to be H (from the unit for inductance ) or Hal but couldn't get the rest.
Kissinger never came to mind but even then I'd never heard of a face being a puss. Did everyone know face=puss?
