Hi Brendan
I miss the spoonerisms as they're usually funny although I often have to work backwards to get them.
Please can you help parse 17a as I still can't see how it fits with the clue (other than the obvious link with two of the words in the clue).
thanks
Beccy

Another great Everyman, but I'm stuck on 17a. Can anyone offer a hint? It's particularly annoying not to have got it as several of you have said it's such a great clue!

Hi Becky,

I'm the same with Spoonerisms,I always have to reverse engineer them.

17a - look at the word "hotel" and see what follows "tango"

Enjoyed this today and for once didn’t need any external help. Got the rhyming pair — got 8 first and thought ‘ooh. 7 must be part of a rhyming pair.’ Thanks, Everyman, for a great puzzle!

Hi all, any help on parsing 20d? I'm sure I have it right but can't parse it at all.

3 letter "prosperous periods" followed by 4 letter "yen", with yen not being currency.

I can't parse 10a. Missing a letter. Cad + Allure regularly?

What am I missing?
