57 mins to complete this today.

I had the wrong answer for 1D for a while (there's 2 words which could fit the clue, one with LA and the other with LE), which had me stumped on 9A for longer than I should have been.

I took "in exercise" too literally, perhaps it should have been "after exercise"

I'm stuck on the right side and 11ac leading into it. Can you help with the nameless Prince?
And for 12d what are we looking for? Can't find anything for that pattern in anatomists. What's the definition,?
Is 8 an anagram? Of With pearls?
Finally what is the rhyming pair?
Does it end in -ipper?
Thanks for reading and considering this.

8 is anag of BOAR+PEARLS.
12 is an Everyman trademark sort of clue. Think about the last word of the clue and how it might apply.

11 is an anag and half of the rhyming pair. "Nameless" means to subtract a letter from an anagrist word.
The rhyming pair are the two long across clues. You are correct about the shared ending.

Thank you Geeker. I spelled 10 backwards and neglected to divide 12 into 5,6.
Btw, where can I find terms like Nina, Rita and anagrist explained?

Hi Ethereal,
I cobbled together a list of terms when I was starting out, I’ll copy it below. Others may be able to add to it. For the background to “Nina” look up “Al Hirschfeld” on Wikipedia (Nina was his daughter).

FOI - First One In
LOI - Last One In
COD - Clue Of (the) Day
DD - Double Definition
CD - Cryptic definition
PDM - Penny Drop Moment
DBE - Definition By Example
Anagrind - Anagram Indicator
Anagrist - Anagram fodder
Nina - A hidden message in the unchecked (unches) letters of the grid
DNF - Did Not Finish
BRB - Big Red Book (Chambers Dictionary)
CAD - Clue-As-Definition. Also known as “&Lit” (and literally)
WIA - Wordplay in answer (also known as a reverse clue)
225 - The fifteensquared blog

These are helpful, but what's a RITA. She appeared for the first time today.
