I enjoyed this - nicely constructed clues with tight parsing though struggling to parse 29
CoD 27 and 23

brendan, re 11 in the original it is hyphenated, so the last part of the clue is quite literal.

Pauly, if you’re still looking at 29, it’s a four letter word for man (verb) minus the last letter, inside a 5 letter word for case (in a legal sense)

I'm completely stumped by 20A, but I have a feeling I might have one or both of 15d or 29a wrong as I can't parse either.

Any subtle hints on the parsing of either might help.

I might also have 13A wrong as I can't see how it fits into the theme??

Apologies, I see Jono has already given the parsing for 29. I had not refreshed my page before posting.
