How do I make 12a into a real word if its first 2 letters are the second letter of column 7 followed by the second letter of the original 12a?

To avoid the capital letters in the preamble some material must move around the grid.

Could someone give me a nudge to the first half of the 15,32 clue please. It is my last one to solve and extremely worryingly I currently only have 9 clashes - but I don't know in which order the 4,33, 15,23 or the 20,22 clues are in (yet).

It's the less used single letter abbrev for 'noon' inside 4 letters for 'spots'/notices.

drxx, I was referring to the 15,23 down clue, not the across clue that you are referring to.

Yes, one clash (for 'spur of the moment' it's the sort of decision you might make unthinkingly).
