Thanks to Everyman for an outstanding puzzle this week. One of my top two all-time - perhaps it was composed by an eminent guest setter?

A little tougher than the norm, but not too arduous. At least one long anagram in the downs, and the trademark "first letters" clue is pretty easy to spot. More than one hidden solution. One slightly naughty entry and a customary long rhyming pair. The definition of one long solution confused me, but it turned out to be valid UK usage.

I liked almost all the clues and didn't consider any to be clinkers. FOI 1d, LOI 4. Co-CODs 4, 10, 1a and 12. Best of the rest 9, 8, 21, 15, 6, 22 and 23.

I always look for themes and Ninas. Struck out on a theme. There's an "LOL Bev" tucked away in the grid, but it's more likely coincidence than Nina.

4 letter words going in last... still thinking about 2D and 23A.

Easy apart from the 4s at the end I think.

Now I've got 2D... just 23A left.

Can't parse what I have for 21D either.

21 is a double definition.

Oh yeah of course ;)

Still stumped on 23A I'm guessing it's not a Swedish company but there is a happy birthday meme about that.

Right, 23A done now thought that was a bit too cryptic really.

You weren't joking when you said it was a little tougher than usual, although I think I found it a bit more difficult than you.

A definite step up in quality and, dare I say, it had more a Prize feel about it than a regular Everyman.

No real parsing problems although I took an age to understand 23a.

Thanks to Everyman for an excellent puzzle.

I thought it was easy apart from the missing 4 letter words at the end... those were the hardest. Was on course for around 45 mins to complete until those. 1h15m in the end.

All of the clues were good quality I thought though.

Dunno where the "dropped" part of 17A comes in though?

The meaning of the first 4 letters in 26A was new to me, as was the meaning of 22D.

Oh I suppose it is "regularly dropped" and not just regularly... I see.
