I still think that the definition for 6d requires an "OR" ending! Jono's post earlier I think confirms this.

I originally wrote in 6 with "OR", bur revised it due to parsing. My NSOED gives "ER" as an alternative.

6d - I only got a tick on the app with the ER spelling.

yes, the wordplay gives er - not convinced! Chambers has that spelling, but not in the legal sense.

All done. Thanks for your help all. Can't parse 11d. Have a green tick but as I've said on here before, I'm not 100% sure that means much on the Android version.

Well Minno, I haven't got it. I've filled something in as a synonym for ludicrous, but I can't see why it is right. But that is true of many of my answers. I simply cannot fully parse them - like 22ac.

I'm still struggling. I've got quite a few more, but still have lots to get and need to get my ironing done!

13ac does it begin with an L.
14ac I have ???M???. I spent ages trying to think of a pop diva. Finally Adele crossed my mind, but she doesn't work. I'm not up on pop divas.
20ac I want it to be mammoth, but it doesn't work. I've got no letters.

There are lots of down clues I'm currently stuck on. I don't like Picaroon.

I agree that 6d should end in OR. I can't think of any water sports for 27ac apart from polo. I've got a glass of wine now, but don't have much time to finish.
