Hi Docrum,

26a - 3 letter "still" + 2 letter "exists"

I thoroughly enjoyed this and was impressed by the ingenuity of getting so many themed answers in and the quality of the clues. My COD is a toss up between 7 and 12 - though as someone who teaches uni students how to reference their work as part of my day job, I was rather fond of that particular use of ‘others’ in 25.

I needed Google to verify 5. Though parsing is clear, I wasn't aware of the thematic meaning. The other thematics were familiar.
