I can’t get 24 across, despite the correspondence or 13 down which nobody else has mentioned.

Yeah I'm stuck on 24A (and 20D) too.

I have an answer to 13D but I can't parse the 2nd word. The first word I have is a vehicle and can't see where jars, having moved is involved, so I think it may be wrong.

Maybe my spoonerism is wrong as well :/

If both my down answers are correct I have C???N?U? for 24A, which looks wrong.

Ah, as in "go and buy 1,5"?

Is C???N?U? correct for 24A?

Hmm. I thought the Spoonerism I have is weak. (Just my 2p worth!)

I guess it's an C???I?U? instead then, which I have something which fits for that but can't parse it.

Have to think about the Spoonerism a bit more then...

24 is familiar to me as an ex-computer programmer in the days of the dinosaurs (FORTRAN). :-)

I have a weak parsing of 24A with an I instead of an N... with the hint being something which has a tip (4 letters, what ice cream comes in?) containing a 4 letter reversal of a loose word for money (???? of currency), but that seems a bit contrived, especially the hint bit.

Don't know much Fortran (being C/C++/C# myself)... is it similar to the "break" keyword in C but instead of exiting a loop skips back to the loop conditional test?

the hint is 3 letters, with 2,3 (not reversed) inside
