I think 11 (and to a lesser extent, 9) are classic examples of "guess/thesaurus the answer then work out the parsing afterwards". I was never inside the box!

Thanks drjax for the 2nd rhyming pair. I missed it, and it's a proper rhyme, too! The 11/20 pair is less aesthetically pleasing. I lack both the Spooner and rhyming genes, apparently.

There were definitely a few here today that were shoot first, and parse questions later

I also felt 5d lacked energy

Saying that I still don't understand what the first word of 7d has to do with old. I'm obviously missing something there!

Off for a walk while it's still sunny

Hi Warden,

"shoot first, and parse questions later" - absolutely brilliant!

7d - today = "you are" - old = "thou ....."

Agree about first word of 7D... it's German and should probably have been indicated as such.

Thanks. It's amazing how obvious the solution is when you know the answer!
