Yes, ps, all of your crossers are correct. Though, come to think of it, the closing "s" does not seem strictly correct; in the original language the "s" is not used. So it's a weird hybrid word for which I will chide Everyman. Though Chambers (which I don't use) may disagree.
21d - I'm not convinced about this, other than the definition "pork pies" the rest of the clue doesn't stack up, at least as far as I can see. The answer with "France" in front is only "intestinal discomfort" if there's another 6 letter word before it.
21d - I had it wrong which is why I couldn't parse it. The correct wordplay is single letter "France" followed by 3 letter acronym for an "intestinal discomfort" - definition is still "pork pies"
Good day to everyone. I have no idea how I get through these sometimes. This forum helps when I find confirmation of crossers or parsing. So thanks all. Feels like a slog when the first two or three runs though get me only two or three answers. Then keep plugging away. Get a couple of anagrinds and eventually somehow finish. Agree on the 19d spoonerism for COD love it. 6a FOI. 7d LOI. Not convinced by 1d. Not sure how some come together such as 1a. Getting 17a helped me though i did not see it for ages. Thanks Everyman.
Morning all, another in a good run of Everyman’s I thought. 13d and 19d favourites. Enjoy your day, it’s nice and sunny here in London for a change!
11a also LOI.
I cannot find the parsing.
Is definition 1st word or 1st and 2nd?
Is definition last word?
Double definition?
Does it parse as homophone (2,3,8)?
More than likely it's something completely different. I'm stumped
