Oh and I'd heard of the villain from 9A but was not aware he was a villain to be honest and wouldn't be the first name I thought of. I guess I need to learn more Billy Shakes.

you just need to add one letter to the wobbliness word.

Or I can add 1 letter to the beginning and get a word that doesn't really mean wobbliness but I guess that's what the clue is referring to? It's not really a word either the letter I have to add, but I get the point I suppose?

The letter the Queen doesn't say becomes the second letter in the answer. It seems you aren't familiar with the wobbliness word - fair enough, it's a bit obscure!

Ok thanks for the explanation, another word that doesn't show up in Chambers online :( I did check all of the combos of removing the letter in Chambers online, none were in.

Hi everyone

You all start so early! I started an hour ago and got quite few from my first read through. I now have to go and make my Christmas puddings and get the washing in, but will be back in a couple of hours once I've done some more. My Foi was12ac. I look forward to solving 9ac.

Well, I returned to the puzzle at 5.30pm and got a few more, but I still have several to get. I'm wondering if I have some wrong as I'm not sure of the parsing.

I can't find a word for 25ac though I understand the clue. Are my crossers right? L?A?I?U??

Similarly with 1ac, for which I jave ??L?I?? Can I have a hint please.

And my bottom right corner is sadly vacant. I have ?N?A?? for 20d. Do I know this word? Hints here would be helpful.

Hi roof,
25a - your U is wrong. It is one of the vowels you have mentioned.
1a - think future last word.
20d is part of a quote that finishes “lies the crown”. The word is well known.
Have fun.

The U in 25A is not correct.

1A - think of something legal for the first 4 letters?

20D I had to use a solver for, it would have helped if I was familiar with Shakespeare, Brendan mentioned Henry IV. It's not an unusual word or anything.

Hi Mystogre

I found the quote for 20d in my book of quotations from Henry IV part two. Unfortunately I couldn't find the answer to 19d as in my book of quotations Cordelia hardly speaks.

I have found a word for 25ac which could mean disadvantage and I don't know the word for wobbliness. I changed my ending for 15d, which gives me only one word for 27ac, which I can't parse.

I've guessed at answers for 28ac and hence 23d.

Still to get 19d, though I'm not sure of my answer for 26ac, and 1ac and 1d
