28a - ''with''(and) is 'und' in German and it is ''apparently listed'' by appearing in a rota (I think).

1d is just FUG A CITY
Not much idea about the others, though "articles of apprenticeship" is a phrase

Should have added it means "fleeting". When applied to pigments, it means "tending to fade or discolour".

A packet is a ship.
A dele is a sign used in print setting.

The dele sign looks like this… ₰ … and is used to indicate text for deletion. It was also used for the old German pfennig coin, I just discovered, and is a derivative of the letter D.
