Yes, that's the correct order in the grid. Not correct order for the theme, though, which is irritating (if the instructions said start top right it would be correct for the theme).

Vandergraaf - like you, I had 95% of answers before I got started on the grid, then produced a messy grid (in my case, by starting with the first of the theme at bottom right... grrr!).

Just put the last 5 clues in this morning. What a challenge and what a brilliant puzzle. I'm thinking of framing the result!

Is there anyone there? I've just got one left, 5 letters in the middle a?o?c. I can only find two words with that letter pattern and neither of them is a Himalayan crossbreed as far as I can see.

the definition is the last word of the clue. The Himalayan animal is the second and third letter

rpchambe - The definition is 'lifeless'. The wordplay is 'a' + Himalayn crossbreed '..' + one cold.
It's not an animal I had heard of - I had to Google it.
