Hi everyone

I am extremely tired and should have napped before starting this as I keep falling asleep and not getting far. (We had family staying until yesterday and it has left me wiped out)

I haven't even tackled the south west corner yet. Please can I have hints for 13ac, 8d and 7,19d

I have two possible answers for 10d, but cannot get the first part with either. My letters are ??E???? S?H?O?S

If the E is wrong then I have the wrong answer for 10ac, though I think I have the right answer for 6d.

Ahhhh! I did have 10ac wrong. I liked Grub Street, but the right answer is a lot better. I went back to the beginning of the thread and spotted the NZ connection.

I've still to work out the parsing for 7,9d, but it has helped me get 12ac, but not 8d so far. 3d has given me an extra letter for 13ac., which means I have got this just as my husband changed the beast's tray!! How ironic.

I may just have guessed 8d.

What has happened to the rest of this thread?
