Rather good I thought. Paul had indicated he was going to present some slightly easier puzzles and I’d say this one. Enjoyed 7,19 but struggled with 10 which was my LOI. Haven’t parsed 20d, not seeing the NE vale?
It’s only one letter short of a pangram btw, I won’t say which one.

4/15 - I'm also looking for a nudge with this one (specifically 15 as I think I've got 4).

Advance is a noun in this clue.

Not a kiwi but 10A was my FOI possibly on account of the spectacularly nauseous nature of my one encounter with it. Also learned a whole new meaning for "meat and two veg". Crosswords are so educational.

After a promising start, half completed, I've hit the skids somewhat.

6d is the def precautions because there's an obvious answer that doesn't parse or fit into 4,15. I have ??R? D???L

25a Is the def pancake?

Right on both, rocky. Defn of 6 is actually "precautions taken by the way", solution is a UK term that I only picked up from crosswords some time this year.

For once I must have been on Paul's wavelength, because I managed to resist looking for hints 😂, despite almost coming to a halt after most of the LHS was in.
FOI 13a, LOI 4a/15a. My vote for COD goes to 7d/10d.
