7d I always assume was an American expression (though I have heard the equivalent with "bunking" in British sailing boats).

Ah - I parsed the clue correctly, but for 11a I was using a unit of time rather than time itself, so the third letter was wrong.

Thanks for the help!

Hi, all. Just come back to this after a busy Sunday. Yes, difficult in parts - thanks for the tips.
The P finally D’d for 22D after initially wondering what a Canada goose had to do with desserts!
Still stuck on 20A & 21A.
Hints welcome if anyone is still here
Thanks

Hi Barry,

21a - 2 letter "Everyman's" + 3 letter "lav" around single letter "run" then 2 letter "behold" around single letter "Everyman" - definition is "a muddle"

Did you mean 20d?

Hi Brendan - yes, both Ps finally D’ed.
But thanks as ever.
Hope all’s well across the water and that you have the opportunity for music making
Barry
