I'm getting frustrated. I have the theme and have completed this all except the penultimate instruction.
Could anyone point me in the right direction to complete the illustration please ? Which of the 5 members of the group does it refer to?
I think I have the final phrase.

You need one of the meanings of the theme word. Then think what sign is used to represent it...

I'm way behind you guys but making good progress.

26d - Can I check if this a Scotswoman's name - maybe like that of one called Chisholm who was a nurse and ambulance driver in WWI?

Got a full grid but struggling finding some of the extra letters/groups. eg 19d (suspect it's a group), 3d and 34a.
Hints for any of those would be a great help.

Hi Granama,

19d - I've got the final 3 letters "mater" leaving an anagram of 'ma + M(oney) + worry'.

34a - I'm satisfied with my answer but haven't worked out the wordplay yet so not sure of the extra letter(s).
