Thanks Bobby but it's a 1 letter word followed by a 6 letters one so doesn't fit. Plus, because it follow A, the first letter must be a consonant?

Hi Bren, "d" is not 1 of the 10 letters so it can't be defect similarly neither is "k" which is obviously in cockup (though j, k, q nor z are only ruled out by default).
