Tony, your bird sounds right. A is a and bee endlessly is literally that. Fly as in take off / leave. Not my favourite clue

Did you perhaps do what I did and enter the horned beast rather than the river?

That's what I did, Shorthorn.
It threw me out for ages but we should have read the clue more carefully.

Also stuck on 22d, with 2 possible answers. Don’t know anything about tea sets.
