25d - trying to parse this is slowly driving me insaneπ I see the definition of "sustained notes" and the 4 letter "melody" 'soaring', but how do the other 2 letters equal "a young child"?
I can see that it can be a "player chosen" in a children's game (assuming I reverse it) but that's not really the same thing - is it? or, if I don't it's the chemical symbol for Titanium?

I doubt it would be used often these days, though.
It's generic and can apply to "book, film, or any character on the side of justice and fair play" (in a Western they would invariably wear a white hat).
