Hi Chris,

It has to be one of the most ill-judged interviews of all time. It was excruciating to watch and a public relations disaster for old Andy!

Belated Merry Christmas everyone. I came to a grinding halt this week and had to cheat with the last two (12A, where I put in 'grip' very early on and couldn't see past it; and 19A, where I was just being thick as it's a great clue). Still having real trouble fully parsing 10A though. Is 'Form' an anagram indicator? If so, I don't think I've ever seen it before.

I think “form” is redundant and is just there to give a nice surface to the clue. I took “moving” as the anagram indicator.

Hi Richard
I did the same, but now wondering if 'form moving' is the indicator. If not, and 'Form' is totally superfluous, slap on the wrist for Everyman I reckon.

Re 10a, I took ‘moving’ to be part of the definition. The OED definition is ‘towards that place’ with the ‘implication of motion’. Granted it’s not in Chambers like this.

12a was my LOI as I had also put in grip to begin with.

25a I was marching up the hill for a while!
( I did see the interview but anyone who didn't would have no idea).

19a has to be my COD as it made me laugh.

Quite a few Pauline type clues today in fact.
Thank you Everyman, I enjoyed this one.

Hi Rossim,

I agree 19a is an excellent clue and very Paulinesque:-)

This isn't the first time the Prince Andrew interview has come up - Everyman referenced the town where he allegedly bought pizza (it was his alibi) in a clue a few months ago.

Well remembered Brendan, it was back in April, I found the clue...

Where prince said he could be seen running (with no hint of running) (6)

Thanks Jono,

It stuck in my mind because, like Rossim, I couldn't see how anyone who hadn't seen the interview could possibly solve it.

If you have the answer from the definition and the crossers and put the answer in google with Duke of York, all is revealed!
