For this week, a "gift" exchange.

I will kick it off by setting a clue. The first correct solver will then set the next clue, and so on. Wait for the setter to confirm the solution correct before proceeding. The clues need not be holiday related. If you have already solved a clue, give others a chance before responding to another. If an incorrect solution is submitted, that would make the clue open to previous solvers. Also, after three clues a previous solver is back in. Feel free to suggest amendments to the rules.

Perhaps mattrom might like to start again. I think it's the punctaution matks that cause the "amp amp"thing.
