The definition is "species that's endangered" but if you change the 6th letter to an E you would have what many jokingly refer to as the colour/"tone" of (Donald) "Trump"

Well, it's not like me. I started really well filling in the first four answers right off the top. I then got quite a few more before slowing down somewhat. Now I have ground to a halt with four left.

I cannot get an answer for 17d. I'd assumed it was an anagram of uxembour as I have E?B?????, but I can't a word that fits. I'm also stuck on 22ac, 24ac and 20d. What is the definition of 22ac?

So nice to have a crossword I could tackle after the last three difficult ones. So far I have liked 6d and 23ac. I wasn't sure how to spell 25ac - with an a or an e, but I think I know now. Another favourite.

17d - centre 4 letters of "Luxembourg" + 4 letters "was no longer" - definition is "represented"

22a - 1 letter for "lead of bank" + 6 letter word for "bank" - definition is an "appliance"

24a - is a 5 letter "river" with "nothing" replacing "one"

20d - 4 letter "ale" + 2 letter "fine" both reversed/"served up" - definition is something "horny"

Thanks for your hints. In fact, I finished them all while I ate my dinner. The centre of Luxembourg was shorter than I expected.

20d was last in after getting the appliance.
