I’ve started my jigsaw, but seem to have a six letter word (near bottom left) ending with a V. There’s not too many of those so have I gone wrong? Without giving too much away....
That was an enjoyable solve, with the penny dropping just at the right moment for me. But I can't make any sense of the wordplay to the last clue....can anyone enlighten me?
I’m still confused about clue 5. I can see a 5 letter word for enclosure but can’t see how the radical fits in to make an obvious word for justification.
Hi Unclued,
The first 3 letters of the word is/are in Chambers as a synonym of 'excellent'. Radical is also a word for excellent. 'Enclosure' is a 3-letter abbreviation, + E(nglish)
