Having already issued a false statement this evening (sorry, chrise!), I'm praying I've got this right. My head is a maelstrom of voters' names, setters' names and clue, post and vote numbers.
With 33 clues from 17 setters, all of whom voted, we have a quintuple tie - two votes each for jono@4, rossim@19, tyke51@20, jws@34 and bigbadmartyr@36. So to the dreaded tie-break: although it's often good to get away from anagrams, I am most impressed by the felicitous construction of jono@4, to whom I award the prize.
Issue instruction for changing of the guard
Commiserations to the other four with their commendably witty efforts and thanks to everyone for entering.
jono, your prize is some 60s teenage angst, a song unlikely to be covered by the Rolling Stones.
