34 is a hidden word in the clue (reversed)

I'm also struggling with the other two!

34 across is a reverse hidden
23 down - you've got the right answer (there's no Y)

21 across - misprint is first letter of dead. You need a word meaning clothe minus the two letter printing space.

Jogamel

33 Take a three letter 'taxi' out of a word meaning 'grim', you'll be left with a Shakespearean word, relating to 'spirit'.

17. I think this is a four-letter word for 'settled', with the A removed, never active, and reversed. That would be defined by the first word if you change it...
