There's a new Genius puzzle out today and I can heartily recommend it!

Yep back to merely challenging as opposed to near impossible. Enjoyed this.

Thanks, BuzzyBee. I didn't enjoy a couple of the recent puzzles - I disliked the 'four/five' one and the missing vowels one was very hard work in places.

Very much agreed on all counts. Enjoying it so far, though not yet finished.

The only solution I can find to fit into 26's clue is 17, but then what happens to its second word ...?

What do you mean, Prospero? I have almost completeded the grid by just removing adding a letter or two in the clues. However, without grasping the plot, it is impossible to be sure of 7d, 11a and 24d, for which I have alternatives! So far, I have not replaced the blanks with a word, just letters! Do the blanks in one clue change places with blanks in another?

Nikki, your answers to 7 D, 11 A and so on should be confirmed by those being the words missing from other clues. They all match up.

I can see some! This will take some working out, then. Strange I have completed(?) the grid (definitely 2 options for 24d) without getting the words in the blanks....

Does 7d link with 14d, Malone?
