Re the hair thread. Luckily I got my hair cut just before the virus hit us, but I hate shaving and see no point in doing it at the moment. By the time we achieve some semblance of normality I'm going to look like a dissolute Santa Claus.

That I would like to see, Malcolm! My guess is this will last at least a year, so the dissolute stage will be well over by then and you might like the effect.
If my hair gets long I will just have to tie it back s I don't want to look like a certain archeologist, much though I admire her scholarship and enthusiasm.

Mattrom, I've only just seen your sad news. Sincere condolences. I've been there before and know how horrible it is.

Hi mattrom, I've only just looked in and you have my utmost sympathy. I "lost" one of my feline companions last year so I know the feeling, absolutely gut wrenching both for you and rom (apologies I can't recall the full name).
