You have the right answer for 17d (Hurriedly) but the Spoonerism is My Clad which, at least in the opinion of the setter, sounds like the answer - once you've switched around the initial letters of each word.

3d definition is "Jewish patriarch" and is A + "Hindu God" with the M (minutes later) moved down.

24a definition is "Comic character" (this is just one of several personas he adopts) and is the first 4 letters (not half) of an 8 letter synonym for "landed".
