Personal chat and friendliness is important for the forum to be interesting. I enjoy the stories and experiences of Tyke, Malone, ChrisE, Jigjag, Rosalind and others. Entertaining and humorous.

Well that's me told. Seems I'm a minority of one. Sorry to be a misery.

Derekack, you're not 'a misery' - just someone with a different point of view! Your original post raised a valid point and might have got many similar-thinking responses. I like the Forum the way it is and I'm glad that others agree, but don't expect every solver/Forum user to follow suit.

Derekack, I agree with Malone, you are not a misery, you raised a very valid point and all feedback is welcomed. In this case, the Forum users were asked their opinion and all who posted agreed the current content was fine. But please don’t let that put you off raising other concerns in the future.

As a relative newcomer I think this is a fabulous and very helpful resource and thanks to those that run it and those that share their skills. Re the social interaction, over the next few months I suspect that many of us will be quite pleased to see a bit of it, even if it's only reading others doing it! (:o)

I agree ... I think in the next few weeks we`ll all be grateful we have the forum available.

I also think we should give a big `Thank You` to the crossword setters who provide us with so much fun - even though they can drive us mad at times. Lets hope the newspapers keep going through the crisis.

Let's hope so, too tyke. The idea of being indoors for the next 4 months is almost impossible to imagine. At least I do have a garden

Yes we`ll have plenty of time to do our gardens - I`m 69 so hoping I will be allowed to go out occasionally!

I just stockpiled some compost (three large bags) and some veg seeds!
