Following on from last week, this again seems a bit more difficult than we are used to from this setter. There are a handful of references to food and drink but not enough that I'd call it a theme.

All in all it was enjoyable and a good workout for the grey cells.

Feel free to leave a comment and/or ask for a hint if you get stuck.

It went fast for me, since there were many anagrams. Got bit stuck with parsing 21a.

Hi Mathi, that was the one that I got a bit hung up on, but once I'd sorted out the river and the I(sland), I saw the woman's treatment.

Since I am in India, I thought of another Himalayan river with a similar name, Teesta, and was wondering how to get rid of the last letter a! Lol. It is a river in Hampshire! Got it now. Thanks.

Decades ago as a kid I rarely finished Everyman. Seem to be able to now. Not sure what that is a sign of!

I wish you a good day.
