The season isn't one of the "four". Standard crossword "tales".

Peter, the definition is 'Yachtsmen moved by these'. Six letter time of year, four letter 'tales' (very common in crosswords).

What might move the vessel they are in

19ac 'key' is def. Not the unlocking kind though.
