I have got 3d as well now. It turned out to be one of my possible answers.

I also have an answer for 13d, but cannot parse it. I have the french word, but not the synonym.

7d remains a mystery yet to strike me despite all the advice.

A few left to solve, which I'll have a go at when I get back from visiting a friend.
