I am sorry to be pedantic but tomorrow is Holy Saturday. Easter Saturday is a week tomorrow.

Jigjag, I've never heard anyone refer to Easter Saturday - but I've never heard of Holy Saturday either! I Googled the former before posting my MT 2 clue. Religious authorities don't appear to like 'Easter Saturday', regarding it as inaccurate, but it remains in common usage.

I always just assumed the Saturday before Easter was Easter Saturday, but I've checked on Google and you're absolutely right - it's Holy Saturday (and me an ex altar boy as well!).

I've just polled the members of this household. Not one knew that Easter Saturday is the Saturday after Easter. It's quite logical, though - this week is "Holy Week" (as if I'm at all interested!)
