Sunray, that one's not as bad as it looks! It IS thematic.

Heartless input = the usual crossword indicator,
Riled = anagram.

I had three letters already, so it was obvious what I would enter. You haven't said what you've got, but it doesn't matter much. Just add what you've got from my hints and put it with the other three letters...The definition is 'regulator'.

it's a themed one ....entry is an anagram of in(p)ut
If you put the 3 letter theme word in front you get the regulator

Have you got 23a or 32a? I have most of the letters and can see answers that would fit bt can't see a parse for them...
